Meet
the leader of the OVSM team…
C. Mitchell Fields, MD
Putting
education and experience to work for you
“Although I am proud of my education
and accomplishments in the field of orthopedic
medicine, I am even more proud of the opportunity
I’ve had to serve Chillicothe and
the surrounding area. I founded Ohio Valley
Sports Medicine back in 1984, and feel fortunate
to give to and be a part of this great community.
I want every resident to know that OVSM
is dedicated to serving them with unsurpassed
medical care and the highest level of trust
and respect.”
A leading
expert in knee repair and replacement
“Helping patients who have suffered
from knee injuries is extremely challenging
and rewarding. That’s why I have invested
so much time sharpening my skills in both
arthroscopic repair and total joint replacement
techniques. These procedures can make a
tremendous difference for patients –
allowing them to regain their mobility and
enjoy many activities without being hindered
by chronic pain. I’m proud to have
helped thousands of knee injury patients,
and I look forward helping many more.”
Always
listening. Always learning.
“As your doctor, my first job is to
listen…to give you the opportunity
to voice your concerns and ask questions.
Your input and participation is a critical
component of the care I provide, and absolutely
essential throughout the treatment and recovery
process. Over the years I’ve learned
that this type of doctor-patient partnership
always produces the best results.”
